Entrepreneurship for Women: A Mindset for Survival

Guest Speaker of the Month:

Mary Reibe, Ph.D.

Dr. Mary Riebe has worked with women to shorten their learning curve to success for over 30 years. She is the recipient of numerous awards reflecting her passion such as Small Business Administration (SBA) Women Advocate Award in 2004, Pennsylvania Women of Achievement award in 2008 and the National Association of Business Owners (NAWBO) Vision award in 2010. She has also served as a United States delegate on women’s issues in Turkey and China. She is the founding director of two centers for women entrepreneurs. Her Ph.D in business was awarded in 2001 based upon her research of women growing their businesses in the United States, Ireland, and Finland. She continues as a principal in a strategic consulting business she founded in 1985 and has earned the rank of professor in entrepreneurship and marketing after having taught in four universities.
