"Growing and Nurturing Women Leaders"
The 2006 Minnesota ACE Network Conference was held on Thursday, November 2 and Friday November 3, at Minneapolis Community & Technical College.
As we begin our careers, growth is key; as we progress through our careers, nurture becomes of utmost importance. We explored ways to grow and nurture women leaders.
Women representing public, private, and for-profit institutions came together to concentrate on succeeding within challenging environments, navigating the higher education landscape effectively, networking with other professionals, and learning more about the MN ACE Network's goals and objectives.
The conference started on Thursday afternoon with a session for Institutional Representatives and a general Power Networking session.
A Thursday evening dinner event was held at Café Lurcat. This was an opportunity to socialize and network with our colleagues in higher education.
Friday’s conference captured the essence of women in higher education leadership. All sessions promoted leadership skill development whether just starting out or are a seasoned veteran, within higher education.
